Alex is a versatile, energetic and experienced presenter based in central London who has presented a variety of TV genres ranging from property to travel, where she has participated in activities from archery to gorge scrambling! Experienced in location shoots and live studio based programmes, Alex has a wealth of expertise as a live unscripted presenter and presenting pre-recorded material. Appearing on Sky, Ch4, TVE2, BBC and ITV she is a well rounded presenter and has interviewed high profile celebrities, designers and journalists along the way.

With a background in retail, Alex specialises as a fashion presenter with a broad range of experience in the UK and abroad. She is submersed in the fashion world and has hours of knowledge under her belt working as a reporter at London Fashion Week and fashion advisor on the live TV programme QVC (Sky 650). She was also stylist for the brand La Redoute, and in her spare time blogs about the latest trends and both hosts and produces her own online menswear TV show MNSWR.TV.
In addition to the above, Alex also has a solid understanding of fashion shows and publicity shoots having worked as a catwalk model and commercial model where she appeared in adverts such as Sagres Beer and Flora.
In her past life, Alex grew up on a farm in North Yorkshire driving diggers, rock climbing and riding horses so is always up for a challenge and won't shy away from trying something new. She attended a traditional all girls boarding school and although rebelled a little, excelled in all things creative. Having completed the Duke of Edinburgh award she became keen on fitness and healthy foods which she maintains today.

With a first-class honours degree in Film & TV (with Journalism), Alex quickly got her first break in TV and moved to London the next day to start her television career. Since then she has worked her way up the ladder behind the camera on shows for the likes of BBC, Ch4 and Nat Geo. The experience she gained working in production gave Alex a solid understanding of the full production process, and as a presenter she is fully aware of continuity, edit sequences and release forms! She is at ease writting her own scripts, using auto cue and talkback as well as green screen presenting and pieces to camera.

With programme ideas up her sleeve, Alex is now looking to do more factual and factual/entertainment based TV presenting.
